How To Get A PID

The process of creating or reactivating a PID for the various affiliates of the University

An affiliate of the University must have an active PID in order to obtain a UNC One Card or an ONYEN. Information about the ONYEN can be found on the ATN ONYEN Policy page.

  - Tar Heel Temps
  - Post Docs

Students

  - Full-time
  - Summer
  - Part-time (Friday Center for Continuing Education)
  - Graduate Students

Other Affiliates

  - Retiree
  - Area Health Education Center (AHEC)
  - Continuing Education (CE)
  - Contractors
  - Distance Learners
  - Event Attendees
  - Medical Examiners
  - On-campus Environmental Protection Agency  Workers
  - Summer Groups
  - Volunteers
  - Visiting Scholars
