How To Get A PID
Other Affiliates Campus
This group includes retirees, contractors, distance learners, professionals attending workshops, visiting scholars, etc. Individual requests for PID Creation or Reactivation must come directly from the university department.
Other Affiliates are created when their HR Facilitators enter them into the Affiliate System. To find out who your HR Facilitator is, refer to the HR Facilitators List for a complete listing.
After approval has been received by the HR Facilitator, the Other Affiliate can create an ONYEN at ONYEN Services website.
Other affiliates also needing a UNC One Card must go to the One Card office, after the HR Facilitator receives confirmation of PID creation, with a drivers’ license, passport or military ID for identification purposes and the $5 card fee. If the department would like to pay the fee they may do so by AJ1 form.
